Pennsylvania slot machine profits were up last month according to the state Gaming Control Board. They reported that gross gambling revenue from slots generated in March of this year rose 2.37% over revenue generated in March 2018.
Additionally, the Board is reporting that March’s gross revenue of $226,597,681 at the 12 casinos was the third highest individual month from the play of slot machines, ranking only behind March 2012 ($233,147,479) and March 2013 ($229,335,372).
Tax revenue from the play of slots machines in March of this year was $118,017,388.
The average number of slot machines operating on a daily basis was 25,238 during March 2019 compared to 25,815 at the casinos in March 2018.
