We begin this weeks report on the most recent big jackpots to be won in Las Vegas and around the country… and not just on slot machines! In fact, we begin in Sin City at the Flamingo. There a player from California was playing Three Card Poker when he landed a royal flush, and with it the Mega Jackpot! He ended up taking home over $140,000!
Then a player at Caesars Palace was playing $125 a hand video poker when he, too, hit a royal flush! That connection led to another of the big jackpots… this time for an even $100,000! Then at the Green Valley Ranch, another player was on the Hundred Play Draw Poker game when they scored a big win for nearly $28,000!
It was also an amazing week at Sunset Station, where several big jackpots were won fairly close together. The first was when a lucky local made a $5 bet on Dancing Drums and ended up winning more that $23,500. Then another player on the Wild Red Quick Hits game won nearly $14,000 on a bet of just $1.50! Then, another local won $12,500 on a $1.25 bet playing video Keno!
Leaving Las Vegas, one very special slot jackpot was won by a woman celebrating her 106th birthday! We do hope the shock wasn’t too much, but if she was sitting at a slot machine then she was probably just fine. She was spinning the reels at the Potawatomi Casino up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While they didn’t say what game she was on, the casino did share that she won a $1,000 jackpot! We hope she spends the money on herself!
