I think most everyone knows that trying to pass counterfeit money at a casino is a bad idea. Perhaps they thought it would be safe to stick the funny bill into a slot machine, but they were wrong.

Shallyn Taylor, 40, was arrested last week after she shoved a fake $100 bill into an slot at the Isle Casino in Iowa. She was charged with forgery and is free on bail pending a trial.

Agents say Taylor put the bill into the slot machine just after 2 in the morning last week. The machine detected the fake bill and locked up, then set off an alarm. That’s when Taylor allegedly walked away from the machine.
