In about three years, Cyprus will have its first and Europe’s largest casino with more than a hundred gambling tables and over a thousand slot machines.
As Natalia Kardash, President of the Organizing Committee of the Best Invest Conference, told in an interview to Interfax news agency on Tuesday, the casino will be fully opened by 2022. “The land has already been bought and a license has been obtained. There is an architectural project and the construction is about to start,” Kardash said.
She noted that there have been public debates over a casino construction on Cyprus because gambling has been banned on the island for a long time.
