A man punched a slot machine at Rivers Casino in New York. Now he’s looking at felony charges. Thomas Waicul, was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree criminal mischief.
Waicul is accused of intentionally damaging the slot game by hitting it with his fist, according to police allegations filed in court. The strike caused glass on the machine to break, damage that totaled more than $1,500, the threshold for the second-degree criminal mischief charge, according to the allegations.
Waicul has since been released on his own recognizance.
